Kiryk Drewinski is a musician from Berlin and a rock band designer. He creates designs for bands, albums and shirts that all have a theme of distortion and what I think is psychedelic art. The typefaces he uses are distorted in ways to fit the illustrations and be one with the illustrations instead of being a separate layer. I enjoy the way he thinks about the texts and how they would fit in places to add more space instead of leaving them empty and boring. The texts and distorted typefaces bring life to the illustration designs which are eye-catching to look at.

The image on the right is a design he made for the "Magnificent Brotherhood" which is a band he plays in. The whole illustration is cohesive in sense of how the gun is coming from one ear and the pink smoke coming from the other ear as if the gun has shot through the head. The green texts complement the pink allowing both to stand out and balance each other out. I enjoy the hand design as it looks very authentic. The expression of the man's face also adds a sense of emotion as if he's shocked by the gun being shot. The illustration has a balance in details where the smoke and gun has very fine details while the person is more minimalistic with the texts and body. The body is very simple which allows the face to stand out from its expression. There isn't much shading that keeps the minimalistic effect and focuses on the outlines, which is something I need to work on as I tend to focus too much on creating it to be realistic, creating it to be very crowded in unnecessary places.
